Alireza Tafazzoli attended medical school at University of California, San Diego. He did his internship training at University of California, Los Angeles followed by residency and fellowship training in surgical and clinical pathology at the University of Southern California. He subsequently joined a busy private practice in Orange County. He has served as a volunteer clinical professor at USC School of Medicine.
He is a part-time freelance writer and has volunteered with international projects. By being involved in various projects, charities and expeditions or by traveling independently, Alireza has explored 100 countries on 7 continents and has lived on 4 continents.
