Sara Jahanbeglari (1947 - 2007)
In loving memory of our dearest friend and ISCC Board member, Mrs. Sara Jahanbeglari who lost her courageous battle to cancer. We salute you for 12 years of dedication and support to MAHAK & ISCC
When Sara was asked her reason for helping children with cancer she said, "…cancer is very painful and I thought if, I can barely tolerate the pain and suffering as a grown up, then how can a child go through what I was going through? It was then, that I promised myself that when I got well, I would dedicate my life to helping children with cancer."
Her treatment was successful the first time around and as soon as Sara was well, she started volunteering with MAHAK and continued her work with ISCC until her last breath when cancer returned and took her from us.
We thank Sara’s daughters, Nastaran and Yasaman Jahanbeglari, for continuing their mother’s work with MAHAK and ISCC. We appreciate you.
